The Department of Scandinavian at the University of California, Berkeley seeks an applicant who can contribute to a model of scholarship that is comparative across the Nordic region. In addition, the department has interest in a candidate with expertise in at least one of the following fields: film and media studies, book history, sociology of literature, environmental humanities, theater history, children’s literature, and transnational migration studies.
The Department is especially interested in candidates who demonstrate a commitment to the advancement of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
