Call for Applications: The Nordic Fellowship Programme 2024-25 & 2025-26
The Swedish Collegium for Advanced Study (SCAS) offers a Nordic Residential Fellowship Programme, in the humanities and social sciences, open to scholars who hold a position at a university in the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Norway, as well as the Faroe Islands, Greenland and Åland). The application deadline for the academic year 2024 - 2025 is on 30 April 2024 and for the academic year 2025 - 2026 is on 1 June 2024.
The purpose of the Nordic Fellowship Programme is to strengthen the ties between the Swedish research community and Nordic colleagues. The programme promotes collaboration across disciplinary boundaries, and aims to attract scholars who are interested in interdisciplinary research, discussion and collaboration.
The programme gives fellows the opportunity to concentrate on their own research interests, free from the teaching and administrative obligations of ordinary university life. Fellows are, however, expected to be active members of the scholarly community of the Collegium and to participate in seminars and other academic events beyond their own fields of specialization.
At the time of application, the candidate must have held a PhD (or equivalent degree) for at least three years.
